I was recently hit by a drunk driver, and it changed my relationship to being in the car. Suddenly, every drive felt (even) more threatening.
But you don’t have to go through something traumatic to feel scared or angry behind the wheel. Even before the accident, I noticed how the summer heat would spike my anger towards other drivers.
